Welcome.

I’m a rural textile artist working with hand tufting to create wool-pile, heirloom-quality furnishings. My work sits between art and function—pieces that are made to be lived with as well as looked at. I create rugs and upholstered hardwood stools, each designed with care, durability, and everyday use in mind.

I’m based at WASPS (Workshop and Artists Studio Provision Scotland) in the Artists’ Town of Kirkcudbright. I’m proud to have achieved the Galloway and Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere Certification Mark, reflecting my commitment to sourcing materials as locally as possible.

Textiles have a unique way of shaping a space, bringing warmth, texture, and a sense of quiet. They also soften sound, making a room feel more comfortable and grounded. My work responds to this, adding both visual presence and a subtle, sensory layer to interiors.

I also create bespoke pieces on commission and run workshops, offering others the chance to connect with the process and explore the creative possibilities of working with wool.
