'Portal'

Every day we have opportunities to pause and consider, question, and move from there in a way of our choice. Every day we transition from sleep to consciousness, from awake to asleep. The sun rises and sets and life on earth is adapted to this daily rhythm. Every waking hour we have the opportunity to recognise transitions and invite all of our awareness to open, and enjoy this as celebration of the deeply complex entity we are, and have potential to be more of. Each of us unique, each of us equal to every other living thing in that we are conscious and here, now. None of us asked to come here, not you nor I, nor the tiniest little embryo of a seed. But our ancestors life force is so strong they adapted to keep us coming and keep us coming and keep us coming. Its amazing, but its also a problem. And we’re here now. So I love to tune in to this miracle of life, of consciousness, with sunrises and sunsets all day long, and the splendid, blended colours of sky reminding me to just pause, and open. So ‘Portal’ is a kind of a fusion between the colours of sunset sky and the colours I see behind my closed eyes when I turn my face into the sun. It’s lovely just to be here. Thank you ancestors and welcome new life - I am trying to keep this a nice place for you to arrive into. But we humans, we’re a problem.
